日本の皆様より大変多くの連帯メッセージを頂きましたので、私、ロニー・クインタレッリはチャリティー活動団体「ITALIANS FOR TOHOKU」とSUPER GT仲間のレーシングドライバー、アンドレア・カルダレッリと共に「PRAY FOR ITALY」という名のプロジェクトの立ち上げを決心致しました。「PRAY FOR ITALY」は2016年8月24日の地震で最も打撃を受けた町、イタリア・アマトリーチェの皆様を応援するためです。

アマトリーチェはラツィオ州にある長い歴史のある町で、最も美しいイタリアの町として2015年よりリストに登録されています。アマトリーチェはまた「アマトリチャーナ」という名で有名なパスタソースの発祥の地でもあります。

2011年3月11日に発生した大地震と津波の後で、東北地方の陸前高田市に対して行ったプロジェクトのように、アマトリーチェに対しても直接に援助することを決心致しました。我々の計画は、より多くの基金や寄付を集め、日本の皆様の温かいご支援と合わせて直接寄贈式にお届けすることです。

After receiving so many messages of solidarity from the Japanese population, I am proud to announce that I, Ronnie Quintarelli, together with the "ITALIANS FOR TOHOKU" charity association and fellow SUPER GT racing driver Andrea Caldarelli, have started a project called "PRAY FOR ITALY" to provide help to the town of Amatrice (ITALY), the most devastated by the August 24th 2016 earthquake.

Amatrice is a town with a very long history and has been included among the most beautiful towns in Italy list since 2015. Amatrice is also very known for the eponymous "Amatriciana", the popular pasta sauce which was invented in the city.

As we did for Rikuzentaka City in the Tohoku area after the big earthquake and tsunami of March 11th 2011, we decided to provide Amatrice with some direct help. Our plan is to raise as many funds and donations as possible and bring them straight to Amatrice together with the support of Japanese people in a donation ceremony.

Dopo aver ricevuto tantissimi messaggi di solidarietá dalla popolazione giapponese io, Ronnie Quintarelli, insieme all'associazione "ITALIANS FOR TOHOKU" e al collega pilota del SUPER GT Andrea Caldarelli, abbiamo deciso di creare un progetto chiamato "PRAY FOR ITALY" con lo scopo di aiutare la popolazione del comune di Amatrice cosí violentemente colpita dal terremoto dello scorso 24 agosto. Amatrice, comune del Lazio con una lunghissima storia, é stato inserito nella lista dei borghi piú belli d'Italia a partire dal 2015. Amatrice é molto conosciuta anche per l'Amatriciana, celeberrima ricetta originaria proprio della cittadina in provincia di Rieti.

Anche per questo progetto, come é stato per la cittá di Rikuzentakata dopo il terremoto e lo tsunami dell'11 marzo 2011 in Giappone, abbiamo deciso di aiutare direttamente il comune di Amatrice. La nostra missione sará quella di raccogliere piú fondi possibili e portarli ad Amatrice assieme a tutto il calore del popolo Giapponese e di coloro che avranno donato.
